Regardless of where you go if you are ordering the General, your order it with white meat. Period end of story. If they don’t make that accommodation, you select something different off the menu.

I learned this practice 18 years ago while ordering at Red Ginger in Johnston RI. It is in my opinion that not only does white meat make the dish worlds better, but it’s specially prepared fresh. General Tso is a very popular dish, made in large batches at busy times of the day. Go above and beyond and order it with white meat.
