Silver Crystal

I did one of my all time favorites pairings: Steamed Dumplings & White Rice. It’s a total comfort dish for me.

I used to go to this place called Little Chopsticks II in West Warwick, it was owned by Carlson. I basically grew up at Chopsticks. I’d get that paring of Steamed Dumplings and White Rice often. Typically on a Tuesday night Chopsticks was quite, just like Silver Crystal was tonight. It was super nostalgic! Little Chopsticks II went out of business years ago. I wanted to find the right opportunity on this site to mention them honorably, as they had been voted Best In RI many times in the late 80’s into the early 2000’s. I miss Little Chopsticks II. At any rate, I’ve been to Silver Crystal plenty of times. They have a really big Dim Sum menu, a lot of people in Rhode Island go here for that reason alone. My Steamed Dumplings were fresh, and the rice was great as well. I’ve had plenty of dishes from Silver Crystal including General Tso Chicken, Lo Mein, & Sweet and Sour Chicken to name a few. It’s a charming place to eat in, the staff is always friendly. I enjoyed tonight for the good food, and nice memories. Check out Silver Crystal in West Warwick, especially if you like Dim Sum.
